This week sees the release on DVD of Season 2 part 1 of Prison Break.
With 24 coming to the end of the 6th Season what are peoples views on both shows?
Maybe it's just because Prison Break is newer but for me Prison Break has overtaken 24 as the must watch show at the moment.
NO SPOILERS PLEASE FOR PEOPLE THAT AREN'T UP TO DATE.

Anyone else been disappointed with Prison Break S3 so far? I've found it all to be a bit predictable...
I was really exicted about it coming back for season 3 but then after a good first episode it went downhill up until episode epsidoes 6 and 7 where I think it brought itself back a bit. I'd like to see Mahone back to his normal self and Teabag more in it too. Still not as good as the first 2 seasons by a long shot but I'm still gonna watch it.
My wife and I have only watched the first 4 or 5 episodes and we are getting bored already. Not sure if I can be bothered watching it anymore - there's so much more to do these days...
Sweet, can't wait! The best part is my mate isn't back from Australia till October so I can engage in mm favourite game of taking spoiler screenshots and then setting them as his desktop background!!
Don't forget everyone that Prison Break season 3 starts on Sky One on Monday 24th September (or on Fox on the 17th for those who download!)
Also...
Heroes season 2 starts in the US on 24th of September
Battlestar Galactica (Pegasus mini-series) starts in the US on 24th November
24 starts in January
I get the feeling that Jack is coming to the end of his central role in the series, and I'd like to see Day 7 concentrate more on other CTU members (I thought Doyle was being lined up as a Jack clone for this purpose until the explosion)

Not sure i can wait until January for the next series!!!
I'll certainly watch the first few episodes of S4, even if just to find out where/when we are now!
Season 6 of 24 has been the one of the best in my opinion. Even after watching all 6 seasons almost one after the other over past few months i am still hooked.
LOST - i still watch this for some reason. I totally agree with Kier in that is both infuriating and captivating. Sometimes it seems they're just making up as they go along. I hope they end it at 4th series to be honest.
Now Heroes is certainly up there with PB! Me and my friends can talk about this forever and i think it appeals to a lot of people. Everyone wants to be a Hero inside! Just watched the season finale last night and felt lost afterwards. Def can't wait for that to be back. Anyone know when it is?
I will post again tomorrow after seeing it for myself!
I think I may have to get a copy of Lost off ebay and see if I can get interested in it!
Prison Break I only just completed season 1 DVD box-set last week and loved it, but as missed start of season 2 I am waiting for that to come fully out in box set, I know part 1 of season 2 is out or about to come out but rather wait for the full thing.
Heroes is the best thing on TV at the moment. I used to watch Prison Break but got bored about 7 episodes into season 2 so gave it up. Still watch 24 and Lost religiously though, love them!
Saw the season finales of Heroes and 24 last night. I have to say - Heroes was more entertaining than 24! Jack - don't jump!
1. The Others are coming to steal us/the children
2. There is the chance some of us could escape from the island
3. There's a new hatch we hadn't got into before
4. Lets go collect a load of Dynamite from the Black Rock and rope Rosseau in
Aren't they just recycling the S1 finale?
Agree that S4 better start off with a bang, or I might not bother (Failing that, if we could just see more shots of Kate wearing very little, that would be fine for me)
It started off really well in season 1, a plane crashes on a mysterious island. We learn about all the survivors, we learn about the island. There are other people on the island. There are mysterious forces on the island.
Season 2 was all about "the hatch". There are new survivors, things heat up when someone does a deal with "the others". It's only OK. Things got a bit better and levelled off towards the end of the season.
The beginning of season 3 was tiring and uninteresting. We're now nearing the end of season 3 and finally we get some snippets about what happened on the island - who the others are etc...
It only took 3 seasons to get this far! Season 4 better be good otherwise I might just give up on Lost.
You should try 24
The more recent season of 24 has been a little bit dry in terms of action and story. There have been some moments and big plot twists though. We learn a lot about Jack's family, eventually see some classic Jack action and get 2 storylines for the price of one. I personally find that annoying but it does mix things up a bit and we now have the Chinese as the baddies - much fresher for 24.
I must say that the best 24 quote ever came a couple of episodes ago. To set the scene, Jack is found by fellow CTU agent Doyle lying amidst approx. 20 dead terrorists and not far from 2 nuclear warheads which he just recovered and disarmed. Doyle looks around in wonder and then says "Damn Jack!"
Prison Break on the other hand is fresh - There's still a formula, but they're not afraid to deviate from it, and go off in a totally different direction. The way they've ended the storyline of the first two series and set up the storyline for the third onwards was pure genius, and I can't wait till August now!
Still wouldn't miss 24, but out of the two. Prison Break just wins out - Now who would win a fist fight - Jack or Lincoln?
Forgot to say, my favourite line from 24 was waaay back in the first episode of S2 - Jack's interrogating a suspect who's being a bit cocky about cutting a deal. time being of the essence, Jack decides to shoot him between the eyes right infront of Mason (Jack's boss). He then has problems moving the guy due to him a dead weight so radios through to CTU and says "I'm gonna need a hacksaw" - Edit: found it on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lgx_FzHfPpk
You can't beat classic Bauer taking on a few terrorists/crazy people!
I do also find myself enjoying the shows more if I'm watching them on DVD for the first time instead of having to wait each week.
