A place for all those based in and around Bristol who work in the affiliate marketing sector.
We are organising an Affiliate Marketing event in Bristol on the 20th July 2007. This a4uevents social networking BBQ will be a great opportunity to network with the best in the business.
Well, I've joined this community just because I am just down the M5 at J23 but I suspect I won't have anything to offer it as I'm as daft as a brush and as thick as two short planks. At the moment I haven't noticed anything on this page that smacks of Affiliate marketing wisdom so I'll wander off thru the site and see what I can glean. Gotta start somewhere eh . . .
I have something that may be of interest to you. My partner and I started an import company which specialised in bringing designer products and accesories to my backward little country, South Africa and we ended up doing quite well for ourselves. At any rate our reach went beyond our own borders and got broader and broader until we decided that we should just go the whole hog and start awebsite that sold designer products all over the world.
Thus the birth of The-E-Shoppe . Long story short we have now started an affiliate program which pays $65 per sale and 5% of the earnings of any affiliates you refer to us, forever. Payouts are fortnightly by a number of means (paypal, wire transfer, moneygram etc...) It is not MLM it only operates on two levels and is purely an incentive for you to invite some other affiliate marketers and make some more money yourselves. So check out our site ( www.the-eshoppe.co.za ) and drop me a mail at ed3769@webmail if you are interested.
We are also running an affiliate program with www.za.offerforge.com (the South African Offerforge) but that will involve you joining offerforge etc, etc... and it only operates on one level and does not pay out as much, because of the network costs that we also have to cover.
If enough people at affiliates4u are interested we will start a community right here to let people give us their ideas, criticisms and of course have a good old moan at us, publicly: )
Can anyone point me in the correct direction...I am trying to find an affiliate for breakdown cover....does anyone know where I can get a deal and what they pay. Cheers
(by the way i deleted the previous comment cos i posted it twice by acciedent and was trying not to look stupid- but the fact it says that it has been deleted looks even worse!)
