Been lurking around for a while after being recommended by my boss Nadeem and there's a lot of great stuff here.
My name is Dave, 38 years old. I am a search marketing specialist - pay per click advertising, search engine optimisation etc. I have been doing it for a few years now. I'm now working for Azam Marketing who are based in central London.
Seen one or two familiar faces here who I've seen at search marketing conferences and forums. Look forward to getting to know more people.
Well as the latest newbie I was glad to find a place to say "Hi" it feels a bit like Alchoholics Anom at the moment where I am waiting to make my confession.
I am Gerry, I run a small UK website called www.like2stay.co.uk and I mainly concentrate on UK Holiday Camps. It would be nice to side with a similar UK website that offers a Hotel or B&B directory. I am new to the affiliates and have just signed up with my first today thanks to Kevin Sutton at DGM.
It would be nice to exchange UK links and generally get to know other people. I guess that sums up what I am I doing here (I think)

Hi Everyone,
I work for an online shoe company called shoe-shop.com (http://www.shoe-shop.com) based in the UK. We use affiliate programs quite a lot, but are always looking for new publishers to advertise our site. So if your interested in featuring ads or product feeds for fashion or comfort footwear on your site then please get in touch! - helpdesk@shoe-shop.com
We have had our own website for over 7 years now. While we have been very good at SEO, Traffic and conversions (enough to be at this full time for over 5 years) we never have done Affiliates of any kind.
We have been on a drive to get all of our eggs out of the Google SEO basket for the past couple years (I have had many sleepless nights in fear of the Google Gods striking us down and removing all our listings). In an effort to getting more sleep we started our own Affiliate program. Now comes the same old problem of making sure what we are offering is a good deal for everyone involved.
Here to learn and find ways to find affiliates. Plus make sure we have a knock em dead program that will make everyone money (including us).
I have had a fair amount of experience from the 'merchant' side of affiliate marketing, PPC and SEO.
This experience is now being used working (network as opposed to client) for Affiliate Marketing, I look forward to tapping into this source of expertise.
Hi, Every one , I am a buiness lady from China. so glad to meet all you hereeeeeee !! I just know simple English, but seems lucky to get to this web and you all. I work for a insect amber jewelry factory and interested in network and SEO. Our web is www.tgll.com.cn ; I need to make my business big and this web better. hope to communicate with you who have interested in this insect amber ,China, Chinese market or net promotion, any any .... : )
Just joined up after being recommended by one of your existing members (Renegade).
I have a number of affiliate marketing sites, primary one is www.elearn-university.org - Usual problem is traffic generation which is what I am here to learn about. I've done loads of PPC, but it hasn't been profitable. Ultimately I am looking to scratch enough of a living so I can drift off on my boat to Europe and do the canals. Don't need much of an income for that, but it must be steady.
I represent www.football1x2.com, we have been running for five years or so but only recently pushing our affiliate marketing. We currently offer the program independently. The site has fixed odds football (soccer) betting games and some traditional instant win games. Pleased to hear from anyone interested.
I am working for a comparison portal (www.xpert4u.co.uk) . I am into online marketing for about 2 years and area of work includes promotions, virals, strategies and everything else that in offline mode would just sound rubbish.
I also am fairly new to affilifate marketing so please be gentle. I am the purchasing director at everythingplay.com and we have just signed up with R-O-Eye. Really looking forward to talking to everyone and getting to know you all.
I've seen your program is an independant one - why not list it on Affiliatebounty.com - if you email me the details i'll see it gets put up straight away! [ jonathan [at] funware2000.com

Hi friends, I am a newbie in affiliate marketing. I am from journalistic background with copy writing skills. I have joined the community to make freinds and learn the art of affiliate marketing alias money making.
Very new to the scene so please be gentle - I am looking after online marketing for sports food leaders Maximuscle including relaunching our affiliate programme at the start of October 2007.
Previously came from a design background but with strong interest in marketing so here I am now and enjoyig the role!
Would love to make some great friends here and through affiliate marketing, so look forward to catching up on the way!
I try and look after theHut's affiliate program. I've been involved with the Internet for about 10 years, came from a design background originally.
Over the last couple of years I've headed more towards marketing and analytics and am currently enjoying a steep learning curve about managing a successful affiliate program.
Morning, I'm Steve, been involved in managing affiliate programmes and online marketing generally since 2001. In Feb 2007 I moved over to running my own affiliate sites plus PPC and will hopefully go full time within the next couple of months. I've had a HUGE learning curve this year plus many, many late nights and still have a long way to go before I would consider myself a pro.
Next on the list of things to teach myself is proper CSS, PHP, using feeds and databases etc and of course trying to keep up to date with all the latest SEO stuff, it never ends really!
Still this is so much fun, can't work out why it took me so long to get started on this side of the fence.
I'll hopefully get to meet more of you at the next affiliate get together
My name is Gerry and i am the Affiliates Manager for Alliance & Leicester.
I started in April so i'm pretty new to all of this.
I came from Thomson Holidays (after a 7yr stint!), where i did all sorts in e-commerce from launching the auctions website, to email marketing.
Went to my first event in Bristol the other week and rolled in at 4.30am mind you, that wasn't as heavy as a weekend dancing in the rain and mud at Global Gathering.
I'll be getting myself out to as many events as possible, so hopefully i'll bump into some of you...

I'm in affiliate manager in the Share Results Affiliate Network. I've been doing this for about a year and a half, and am starting to really love it

I live in Montreal, looking forward to meeting people and working with people from all over.
My name is Windsor ..... yes that is my first name. I'm from a Direct Marketing background and co-own a fairly well established media agency but am new to this all affiliate stuff!
My wife and I have recently launched an online (female) fashion business called jemboutique. All looking good but I'll be happier once we are up and running with you affiliates.

Fulltime I slave away for a big manufacturer as a Global Team Lead which basically means managing projects, teams and services on a global level.

Tom Smith (cheers to my parents for the exciting name) - I run the merchant programme at the all new HiFiBitZ.
Been with the company since November 2006 - absolutely love my job.
Before working here I did the whole Uni (where I did Business with E-Commerce) followed by travelling chiché.
I live in Manchester and will be up for any affiliate events/pissups that happen this way anytime.
I have been working at Equator for a year now as an Affiliate Manager. We are a full service Online Marketing Agency based in Glasgow. Our programmes range across most sectors, including Financial Services and Travel; most recently we launched the programme for one of the major players in the DIY sector - Wickes.
Previous to my role here I worked as an online marketing assistant for a university participating in a huge project to transfer their services onto the website. Affiliate Marketing is much more fun
Drop me a line if you have any questions or queries about any of our programmes.
