Since this has turned into an affiliate sales pitch instead of an affiliate discussion (lol).. I'll try to put things back on track.
When you pick a new program to run, do you go simply by payouts or by what you could see players enjoying?
So I guess is it purely about max $payout or are you factoring in estimated conversion ratios?
Reason I ask is simply that working with affiliates I find alot of people are simply looking at the number of zeros in the decimal place lol... when realistically that isn't the best money makers.
I have a few bingo blogs and can do some reviews about your bingo site for some links back to my online bingo site Unluckyforsome.co.uk, PM if you are interested.
This is my first crack at becoming an affiliate millionaire LOL. ok, its simple and basic, but hey its my first shot, so critical comments and advice would be much welcomed. There are one or five loose ends I need to sort out on the site including spell check and links etc. but this is pretty much how it will be.
I know the real hard work now begins getting the site noticed, so advice in this area would not go a miss.
This Russ from Wagerjunction Gambling Affiliates. I just wanted to inform you that we have taken over running the affiliate program for the reputable and established www.bingofabulous.com room.
If the name of your game is 'Bingo' then this is a 'Fabulous' option for affiliates to take advantage of. The rev share is negotiable so if you are serious about forging a long lasting stategic partnership, and making some serious $$$, then drop me an e-mail at affiliates@bingomanager.net

I will be around for ICE / CAP - if anyone wants to catch up. FoxyBingo is due to launch it's second TV advert end of January - you can get a taster filmed by an amature on YouTube of the shoot - Jackpotjoy told me about the availability of the clip (typical).
Check Foxy site to see the actual advert towards the end of the month. We will be increasing the "no deposit required" free money bonus from the current level of £5.
We have luanched a new player VIP program. We are about to start some tasty guranteed prize sessions between £5K and £10k there is a big budget this year for guranteed jackpots.
We have another FoxyBingo P&O cruise coming up and I will give the top affiliate sites tickets to give away as prizes directly similar to last year. Though we had a lot of no shows for the affiliate site winners so we need to make sure they actually want to go on the cruise
I was just wondering if anyone is going to be around at ICEi or CAP Euro towards the end of the month? I haven't been with Crown long as their affiliate manager and I'm really keen to meet up with some bingo affiliates while I'm down in London.
I'm around in the afternoon on Wednesday 23rd and then all day on the Thursday and Friday.
Send me a PM if you fancy meeting up for a chat about the changes I'm going to be making to the Crown Bingo affiliate programme over the next few months.
We are new & upcoming online bingo site looking to promote our site from your help! We are looking for you guys to promote our bingo site by means of affiliation/ joint venture etc., with some high affilaite share which is negotiable too! If you want to get more details & kick off this New Year, please drop me an email at marketing@sparklingbingo.com & I'll provide you the complete details.
Hey guys, i have just been made online editor for www.bingobeano.com. If anyone is interested - take a look. Its an online bingo community site and is a good chance for players to get a snap shot of what is out there and where to play. They can also add their own reviews....Its still relatively new but there's a lot of potental...I never thought online bingo was so huge!
I could do with some suggestions in terms of marketing if anyone has any spare time on their hands!

As someone relatively new to affiliate income being generated from the traffic to their sites, does anyone have any tips on how to go about creating a site (or several) for my bingo related domain names? Sites such as:- bingosite/s.co.uk - bingozone.co.uk - ebingo.co.uk & e-bingo.co.uk + others
I know I should be earning more than pence per click, but I'd like some guidance on what to do next.
Hi all, the new bigheartbingo site has now settled down, no more strange happenings in IE. Are any of you going up to the Bingo Summit in London?: Tuesday, September 25, 2007 to Wednesday, September 26th, 2007 , Regents Park Marriott London. I will be there for both days and would love the oppurtunity to meet with you.... Let me know if you are going, we can meet up for a drink and chat.
Big Hearts URL is www.bigheartbingo.co.uk, we are part of Gaming Ventures PLC and our games platform is from TGN. We have some IE issue's with the new site at the moment but all is well in Firefox.
I've just looked at the Gala page on TD and see that Sandra is now doing the account. Would explain why George hasn't got back - his name was on the newsletter though. Confusing to say the least.
I had it switched today, this is what I was told will happen now:
"Revenue share payments are based on net bingo revenue generated by referred customers during the 6 month period from the date their account is opened. Commissions due will be calculated and paid on a monthly basis."
"The commission will be calculated each month based on the players brought to date. This is better than the previous option which caused many affiliates concern."
It wouldn't surprise me if they change things again, they just don't seem to be able to get the program sorted. The trouble is bingo isn't just one of those programs you can continuously chop/change with CPA or revshare - and with revshare imo, you need better than once a month stats.
No - but can we trust Gala/TD to get the revshare organised and working? I've recently switched from Virgin and Ladbrokes to Indie programs and find my revenue is increased.
Personally I find the bingo/gaming revshare programs on all networks frustrating to work with (barring Astro on POR who do update regularly) as you just have no idea of what's happening.
Anyone going to this http://www.bulletbusiness.com/bingo/
I went last year as a speaker on the affiliate round table - not going this year due to other commitments - but imo the changes in the affiliate industry since last year have been absolutely none!
Communication with affiliates, improvements in providing useful tools, up to date creative, making effort with affiliates - not seen anything at all to write home about - even from the big players.
In fact, I'd say, at least from my pov, bingo affiliate management is worse than 12 months ago!
The meeting is useful for making contacts (although it still bogs me off something rotten that some merchants can't be fecked to do any extra-curricular communication with affiliates except at get2gethers or meetings) and that's about it (it'll cost you a few hundred notes too).
If I can get a free ticket I'd go, but last time I looked is wasnt just afew hundred, was more like £600.
I did go to the CAC in Amsterdam earlier this year, was very good, met up with lots of the bingo guys there.
But you are right, only a selected few send me info on new stuff being added or updates on there site, if you want news ect you really need to sign up as a customer to get it from the newsletter, otherwise you are basicly left in the cold to whats going on.
I'm planning on going and covering it for Playing Bingo. Looking forward to it - I've never been to a conference before. I have to get the room sorted out next week.
Yes, you heard correctly - BingoBliss managed by Funware are giving ALL affiliates a FREE FLIGHT who do the following:
1. Join the BingoBliss affiliate program on WebGains
2. Grab your affiliate link / Put in live on your site
3. Send us the url of where the link is - email jenny@funware2000.com
4. We send you a FREE "Flight"!
I normally give most sites ago, send them some traffic/sign ups and see how they convert.
But I do look at software, take for instance the new King Jackpot site, leapfrog are pretty decent converters for me, so jumped on this site soon as it was released.
Cashcade sites convert well also, even tho they use Globalcom.
But same as you, any sites in $$$ I dont touch, Partybingo looks nice but is still in $$ I think, we are dealing with mostly women here so to start converting currencies is a problem, signing up to a bingo site is hard enough for them already
Do you have problems with Globalcom conversions? It's weird how there's litle consistency amongst affiliates (or maybe there is?) as my two Globalcom skins do fine, but some other skins don't. I find Parlay sites really hard to generate long term revenues though.
Nearly all sites on a network I have problems with, St Minver, Globalcom and Playtech.
No idea why St Minver dont open some more rooms, 200+ people playing in one room, you nearly have the same amount of chance as winning the lottery as getting a line in that room.
I know you have a jackpotjoy skin but I cant convert on that site to save my life, will maybe try this new Price is Right game tho.
Just picking up on Diobach's comment on Gala... what's the general thoughts about the program? For such a big brand I'd have hoped they'd embrace AM and want to lead from the front with a top notch program.
Sadly not... the 3 month "lifetime revenue" is a joke and there's rarely any decent angle for promotion. Very disappointing - but I guess a case of "probably doesn't need AM as the brand is big already"?
Why do I still have Gala on my site? Probably because its the Gala brand and they convert well, its an easy £20 and you might get lucky and get some rev share also. If it wasnt Gala and they run the program like they do, then I wouldnt touch them with a barge pole.
I'd take rev share all the time - I loathe promoting CPA only sites or sites with limited rev share (like Gala). As I actually play from time to time I see people saying what they spend and I think, 'if I'd have referred you on a CPA I'd be kicking myself right now...'
I think the average Bingo player spends around £500 over 18 months at a site. I know I want a piece of that...
Personally, I prefer revshare all the way. But having had the Bingo Bongo program live on AF for a few months now, it's clear that most affiliates prefer the CPA route (initially at least to see how the site converts), although most affiliates would actually be better off on the revshare model (and that includes the better quality cashback sites)
For many though, the security of a CPA is more comforting than the potential of revshare - Hence why I think all programs should offer the choice.
Hi guys,
Anyone going to the CAP Spring Break this year? CAP Spring Break (Cyrpus)

Interesting Kathryn - BingoBeano looks pretty much like a skin/clone of A4U - are you working for Existem?
I am indeed working for Existem....
Skywalker, yes its an Existem site, hence the "Copyright Existem Ltd." text at the bottom of the page.
Nice looking site guys!
Thanks Kieron! Well its Matt's work really - I'm just the hired help!!
Any handy hints on bringing in some revenue? Now that all the creases seem to be ironed out I feel its time to focus my efforts on marketing...

"The commission will be calculated each month based on the players brought to date. This is better than the previous option which caused many affiliates concern."
Sandra Denyer sorted it from TD for me
"Please confirm whether you would like to earn per deposit or revenue share for July and I will change your earnings accordingly."
This was the ending to the email I got, it looks like to me it is only for July and will change again next month?
Personally I find the bingo/gaming revshare programs on all networks frustrating to work with (barring Astro on POR who do update regularly) as you just have no idea of what's happening.

Also terms such as "online bingo uk" seem to still work ie http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=online+bingo+uk&btnG=Search&meta=
Others I have noticed aswell, not sure they will stop the broad search for "bingo"
How do you judge site quality? What do you look for? What makes you decide "yes i'll promote that site" or "no, i won't give them a go"?
I tend to avoid uk sites that have $$$ all over them - just think that uk players aren't going to go for that kind of thing.
This is a really good question, would like to see why people promote some sites more than others.

Does the affiliate become liable for the losses incurred by the merchant. And no I am not being facetious, just curious.
