Online poker is great for a cheeky game or a night of multi-tables. I also have a poker night once a month with a few mates.

I'm off to Vegas in July to support a mate of mine who's just won a place there after 4 months playing pro.....can't wait!

I'm also a very keen poker player, played a 20 SnG on Pokerstars last night, was in the bubble and pushed big blind with J 10 suited - he calls with J 9 os and lo and behold, flop comes J 3 9 with nothing else to rescue me. I couldn't get to sleep after that! Still, love the game and chatting about it.

Betfred organised one of these last year! when he see's this community he'll probably join it. Im sure he mentioned they were planning another one sometime this year.

Ok, why don't we get an A4U tournament together - or even a league? If one of the Aff Managers from one of the Poker sites comes on board, it should be relatively easy to set up?

I am one of those that can only play online, infact I have never played ‘live’ before yet, even though I only live a couple of miles always form 3 casinos in Blackpool!. I usually play on Paradise and the odd time on Littlewoods or VC, I always go by the name Ste707, if anyone wants to take my money!!

Its good to see a few others who like to play! One of the site I manage (I look after it for 2 pro poker players) is having a tournament tomorrow (Thursday) This will be a $4 No Limit Holdem Freezeout with $1000 added prize money on Littlewoods Poker at 8pm.

There will be one or two surprises thrown in on top of the $1000 added. The comp needs a password and I don’t want to post it here, but if your interested in a bit of laugh whilst playing (Live updates on the websites forum are always a good laugh on there own!) contact me for the password and info.

I used to watch poker on TV now and again, and play occasionally then went into a pub where there were loads of people playing, I knew one of the guys and he said sit and play. Would it be beyond belief to say that I won.

I wouldnt trust myself online for real money because I dont believe the dealing would be completely random.

I play home games most weekends, and online everyday! Usually $30 s'n'g's.

What sites does everyone play at? I play at Poker Stars if i fancy a challenging game, but can usually be found at Blue Sq - easy money!

As for being a fish, i still play very fish like!!!

Threres nothing wrong with being a fish, thats just an experienced players way of making them feel better when they lose to a newbie. Ever heard of Phil Ivey, his style is totally 'fish-like'.

I am quite a new player, only been playing for a couple of months and have got a reputation as being a bit of a fish (you will know what that is if you play!). Always looking to improve!
