Yeah - we're still here What did you think of the grand prix last weekend? Looks like this year it's going to be a battle of the McLaren drivers - who would people prefer to see win - Lewis or Fernando?
For me it's got to be Lewis - he's only raced in 5 races ever, finished in the top 3 for all of them, shows a lot of promise... and he's British! Fernando has already taken home world champion twice - he doesn't need another one
sorry ryan , cant help it....... heee heeee heee ...... definetly.. michael was the ultimate and i still feel tht he will always remain the "" RAIN KING"".........
I've been following F1 since around 1993 on a 'nothing gets in the way of me watching a race' basis - prior to that I was a casual viewer. I've been to a few GP, the most memorable of which for me was the 1995 British GP - Johnny Herberts first win.
I also follow lesser formula such as F3, GP2 etc, which can be great to watch trackside.
Finally, I also collect F1 memorabilia - from odd bits and bobs (just bought a nosecone from the 2006 Williams - no idea where I'm going to put it yet!), to Minichamps 1/43 models - of which my collection is rapidly growing
This season is shaping up to be one of the best for a very very long time, and has certainly got me much more on the edge of my seat than I ever recall being.

My friend lives on a farm next to Silverstone and usually gets free tickets and lots of access to the grand prix. Will have to do a bit of poking this year and see if I can come along.

I've been following Formula 1 ever since the 1980s.
I've been to a couple of Grand Prix and would agree that there is nothing like watching it in the flesh. I'm keen on all single seaters, from Formula Ford up to Formula 1 and some of the tin tops too - like watching the BTCC - a couple of years ago went to every meeting of the season apart from Knockhill and Croft.
Hi Rocko, I ma Steve and I have been following F1 for quite a long time but only ever been to two actual races. This could be a good year for the brits and lets hope Jensen and Honda get their act together to at least mount some sort of challenge for a podium!

Hi - my name is Ryan Thomas. I am a web developer and a member of Existem Ltd. I have followed the goings on of formula 1 since I was 10 and have been waiting a long time for a British driver to win the world championship - looks like this could be our year!
hey ryan welcome... i too have been following f1 since i was 14, i am a technician in a small software company in Rothesay. i am also learning affiliate marketing.
If ever you get the opportunity to go to a race, jump at it. It's one thing watching it on TV, but you really can't beat the atmosphere at the track itself. Even the free testing events are worth going to (theres one at Silverstone just before the GP)
absolute fanatic for the past 12 years now, as well as WRC & superbikes et all - been to various rally races (Acropolis) and some superbikes ones, but have not managed to attend an F1 race though
