Google Adwords Trademark Policy
Tue, 6 May 2008 14:26:52
It’s finally happened, from May 5th 2008 Google has changed it’s Trademark bidding policy.  You can now bid on any brand terms, but adcopy will still be blocked if there is a trade marked term inside it.  This means brand name owners can not longer stop you bidding on their names.

But if you are an affiliate before you rush out and start “brand bidding” most sites, still stop you from bidding on their domain/trademarks.
So make sure you fully read a programs terms before brand bidding or you could risk losing all your “pending” commissions and be booted off a program!
How long before we start seeing sites brand bidding and sending traffic to a competitors….
