Whether we like it or not, aren't some of these nominations a reflection of the movement of power from a large number of small businesses to a smaller number of larger businesses, which will inevitably end in snug little protectionist meetings.
It would be nice to think that there will always be significant real power left within the 'mass' affiliates to make sure that this doesn't happen - or at least only happens in a few instances.
I think it depends on what happens to an affiliate ethically when the briefcase full of cash is on the table in front of them. (Metaphorically of course).
