I used to rely heavily on statcounter.com for tracking the visitor statistics to all of my sites but a few months back it started behaving strangly - the cookie that was meant to block me appearing as a statistic kept being deleted but only for one site.
So I decided to try Analytics, my first experience was ok - could just about understand the interface and it was tracking - downside was I wasn’t sure if I could block my own stats but forgave that simply because of the number of features and the number of visits / impressions it could handle.  However the last few site’s i’ve attempted to add onto Google Analytics - Analytics has failed to recognise that the tracking code is installed.  I even double checked the source and the code is correctly in place.
