The quest to unmask the author of The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs, a satirical blog supposedly written by Apple's charismatic head honcho, is over. The man who has been posting tongue-in-cheek entries making himself out to be Steve Jobs for 14 months is in fact a senior editor at Forbes, Daniel Lyons. He was exposed by the New York Times’ Brad Stone. Lyons has made use of the blog to poke fun at Jobs as well as figureheads at other internet companies such as Google and Microsoft. Bill Gates was referred to as Beastmaster, while Google CEO Eric E. Schmidt was Squirrel Boy.
