For a while now I have been running my voucher and freebie site Bargain Beetle using Joomla CMS, which is a pretty good platform but it never quite worked for me so I have scrapped it and started again, latest post was 15th May so I had obviously lost interest.
I decided to move the site to Wordpress as I feel that a blog format will suit Bargain Beetle plus I already have a couple of blogs running on that which are doing fairly well and there are a lot of free templates about.
One problem with running a site on Wordpress that has a lot of time limited offers on it is maintenance the offers need to be removed when they expire I have got round this by installing the Posts Expire plugin which allows the addition of a date that the offers expire, posts do not display on the blog a...
