OK I’ve set the DNS server names and connected the hosting to the domain name. Next step is to actually create a blog site.
The hosting seems to come with Wordpress so I’ll press the button that says install Wordpress and see what happens. 2nd time lucky it worked, the reason it didn’t work first time is that the hosting automated install wanted an empty directory and of course they’d installed a holding page. Deleted that, went to my web page, pressed the setup button and “Hey Presto” - I have a Blog.
Being a bit picky - I don’t want the default theme, so it’s off to find an alternative. Just type “free Wordpress template” or free Wordpress theme” into Google and take your pick. The problem then is choosing which ...
