To borrow a phrase from the Slingbox people, I’ve temporarily shifted to the island of Saaremaa to spend time with Lyyli and Aapo and acclimatise to the Estonian winter prior to a more permanent move happening soon. I had originally planned a 2 day visit to a travel fair in Riga, but Lyyli persuaded me of the benefits of returning home with her. Although it is cold, it’s not so cold that it’s not pleasant being outside. The sun also shines most of the time, which is quite un-Glasgow like. Running Affiliata and iBooking.com from here is both easy and enjoyable. A few essential tools are all it takes. Perhaps the best tool for remote working that I have is LogMeIn.
