I've read here (and in other places) that google may have already assigned your site a
PR rating and a link count. It's just that you don't know what it is until they do their updates.
MSN seems to be a lot quicker at showing your links than Google is at the moment.
Try searching for link:
www.yoursite.co.uk in google and MSN and you should see what I mean.
