  Yahoo question

Hi,

I have a problem with getting one of my sites listed in Yahoo. Whatever I do only the index page gets listed in their index.

I am wondering if this has something to do with the fact that I paid for inclusion in the Inktomi database quite some time ago, before Yahoo stopped using Google results.

Another reason for thinking it might have to do with Inktomi is that some other sites that have never been included in the Inktomi database have all (or most) pages in the Yahoo index. The 'structure' of all these sites is identical... Google and MSN have no problems finding the other pages in the site... and listing them.

I have tried emailing Yahoo about this asking them what the problem could be, if I was maybe doing something wrong... but they never replied.

What I want to try now is to remove the website from the Yahoo index and once it is gone submit it again, hoping that, if the site is still somehow flagged as a Pay For Inclusion site for the index page only, the 'flag' will be gone as well.

I have tried to find a service like Googles URL removal tool to see if I can request the site to be removed but could not find it.

So... I have a couple of questions which hopefully some people here can answer for me.

1. Has anyone ever had a problem like this as well? And if so, did you get the problem resolved? How did you do that?
2. What would be the best way to get the entire domain removed from Yahoo? I can block the entire site for specific bots in my robots.txt file... but which bots should I block?
Is there still an Inktomi one going around?

Thanks for your help...
