Thats what I feel like at the moment, as I post here for the first time. Having sat here watching for some months, soaking up as much as I can, I'm now committed to a project from the ground up.
My new site to be launched soon will be niche market, with original content, (written by me). Essentially its a feature review site which I want to develop into an e-zine style, all about leisure vehicles.
I know a great deal about the core product, alot less about the internet. However, this is no flash in the pan, I've been developing this idea for some time now, and need to nurture this acorn to help it grow.
At the moment the content is not money making by itself, but I've seen posts on here about article directories; would they help drive traffic to my site and generate income too? Any recommendations or definite no-no's would be appreciated.
I hope to attract merchants from several sectors and have been looking around the networks, but held off registrations in some cases until the pilot site goes live. I can see opportunities for quality finance companies, sports and leisure goods, ferries, holiday fashions, pet insurance, travel insurance to name but a few.
I'm trying to follow the advice on here that content is king, but I need hope that money will follow!
A4U was recommended to me as a great resource and just reading posts has helped me alot already, even if I don't understand it all. Perhaps I will soon feel competent enough to contribute more often
The blog link sig gives a taster of whats to come, thanks for looking, any feedback is welcome. Chris.
