Personally on my own voucher code sites i make every effort to ensure that codes are upto date. Granted some outdated or expired codes do slip the net every once in a while.

Whilst i appreciate a 'click to reveal codes' would a) increase my own commission and b) hide my codes (a little) from scrapers its not an approach i'll be adopting.

The regular removal and updating of codes does mean that invariably i do end up with merchants page who do not have any current codes, this is inevitable, but its plain for visitors to see that i do not have any current codes for that particular merchants, its entirely upto them if they then click through to the merchants.

There seems to be lots of little discussions in this thread relating to a variety of issues with 'code' sites, it sure makes for hard reading (and understanding of all the points mentioned!)
