Believe me, it does not make much more sense when you are sober either! Perhaps I

It looks like a new member is asking for us to pay him to advertise on his site, and the others are taking the urea by pretending to interpret this the other way round and say he has to pay them for the site feedback and links.
That may be a kinder and more gentle way of telling the new member off for "spamming" the forum.
On the other hand it might be seen by some as indicating that members of this forum and site in general, are not very helpful, tolerant or just plain "nice". Thank goodness for the profanity and swear word filter on findlite's post, although I ****ing swear like a ****ing trouper myself so feel hypocritical complaining about it per se, just pointing out that new members might be more upset than us old troupers.
I remember the treatment I got in one forum from a nob that thought I was encouraging a webmaster to falsify data on his site, when in fact I was trying to do him a favour by pointing out that he had what looked like contradictory data, due to one set being 3 months older than the other, so out of date.
Needless to say I did not waste my time going back or trying to help any of the other twats on that site.
Perhaps it was this site, it certainly seems to have the same feel?
I have not been here for quite a while.
From the look of things, I will be back at the same periodic frequency.
