Hi,
I know there are some very travel smart guys and galls on here so im looking for a bit of advice.
alpharooms sells flights, and it sells hotels, in travel talk if you buy one of each its known as a dynamic package. You choose your own flight any airline any time flight any airport, and you choose your hotel, any resort any rating any board basis and you choose how many nights, the price is just the two added together.
We’re adding tour operator packages as a separate section of the site, now a tour operator package is a bit different, its fixed. A Thomas Cook package might fly from Manchester on Friday 18th July for 1 week to a fixed hotel in the Costa Del Sol and the price would be £1,400 for 4 people (example). You cant fly on the next flight, or stay at a slightly nicer hotel just down the road – it’s a pre made package.
Now I could do with some feedback from anyone currently dealing with tour operators or selling package holidays – I need to know what works? What sort of landing pages do you find works best, where do you link to, are search boxes as good as they are for accommodation only? What data do you need?
I know your times valuable, so anyone that can offer some feedback, no matter how little will receive a very preferential commission level once we’re live for a month – by email is preferable to daniel [at] alpharooms.com
