Without sounding like a kiss arse, this product is amazing! I love anything that saves me time and makes life easier. I tried another 'large affiliate stats' program and it was a total pain and slow tried this and love it.

I've emailed you the ideas I had with the feedback form, still got to reply to your last email but will do that now.

    Thanks,

After struggling for some time, we are proud to announce that Amazon associates UK is supported by AffJet.

Right now it will be available only for the UK, but we will be supporting all the networks soon. If you want to request access for another country please let us know sending us an email to support@affjet.com

Also we are developing/testing our own tracking system which will allow you to have an accurate picture of your clicks, impressions, even it will allow us to tell you which links are not performing well and where are located!.

We will write more soon about this amazing feature.

Have just had a look at this as Affmeter has stopped working for me completely Something web-based does appeal as I can't get Affmeter from home or hols unless I VPN to my office PC. But I get the impression that AffJet only updates once a day - is that correct? I did like the fact that Affmeter updates every x minutes so that I'm alerted if something has gone wrong with my links - although recently this has been an Affmeter problem & not an Affiliate Network one.

Also, is there any way of importing a file e.g. CSV, for other Affiliate Merchants as I have a few direct relationships with merchants & it would be good to get an overall view. I have a lot of spreadsheets on the go!

    Thanks.

    Hi Pollensa,

I am sorry to hear that Affmeter is not working for you, but we now have a chance to convince you about AffJet.

As you said AffJet is a web-based tool, and that means:

    * Auto updates.
    * You can connect from everywhere, even iPhone and iPad.
    * Your data will be secure and backed up.
    * You don't have to worry about your computer breaking down as the data will be there waiting for you.
    * You are able to get your data without any limit, no more 1 month report, you can get your statistics for the last 4 years for example and make a graph.

Also we are going to keep increasing the number of networks supported, and right now we are building our own tracking system, it will allow you to know the real impressions and clicks PER LINK. Giving you information which ones are performing well and which aren't, but it's still on development/testing.

But also it has side downs, and the main difference is that we are importing your data in our server, and for every single user and network we have to be sure that the load in the server is still secure to run it without problems. Right now we importing hundreds of networks instances, and we are paying attention how the server reacts, so far it's going without problems. If we do it every few minutes, we will be importing redundant data and increasing innecesarily the load on the server.

About your direct relationships, we have a way to import that data into AffJet. We have launched PHP-OARA, a php open-source project which allows you to add your own network / relationship. If you have a technician at home he will be able to build an easy php class to import the data, there are some examples, and also we are willing to help. If you don't have an IT at home, send us an email to support@affjet.com with the details and we will see what we can do.

Sorry for the lenght but I think your questions are the most common right now and they will be an answer for others.

    Thank you.

    Hi Travel Pixel,

We will have your opinnion into account, AffJet can get your transactions every 15 min, the difference is that AffJet also gets your clicks, impressions, links and websites (if available) and match them to give you a better picture of what is going on in your campaigns.

This data requires more request and CPU process than importing only your transactions, that's why we have limited the import. Even though we will try to reduce the time between imports.

    Thanks for your feedback,

    Carlos

I have just tried to sign up for AffJet & add a couple of networks & am getting nowhere very slowly. First I added amazon & I kept getting the 'checking your credentials' message although it appears to have been added. I tried adding TD & it tells me that my TD logon/password are wrong when they're not as I've just checked. I tried to use the bizarre support function, added the problem details & although I was already logged into AffJet it asked for my logon to affJet & it tells me the pw is wrong for that.

Affmeter is a pain but AffJet has not impressed me so far. Has anyone else apart from 'energizing' tried it?

    Hi Pollensa,

We are here to help you, the problem you mention with amazon is a bug we are going to fix during this week (it's only that it takes more than 20 seconds to verify if your credentials are ok and the function times out). About TD I am not sure about this as I have checked and it seems alright, please send me more details and I will look into it, please check that you don't enter any space (it could be the problem).

About the bizarre support function I don't really know what you mean, could you describe it for me and I will try to do the same in order to check it? it could be a new bug.

Thank you for your time, and we will try to impress you.

Your problem was asking for bizarre support and expecting it to be normal. Try using the non-bizarre support option, it's far more straightforward.

    Hope that helps

    Hi everyone,

As the test for the AffJet tracking system are being carried without much problems, I would like to share with you what we have on mind to help all the publishers with our tracking system. These are some common questions you may have:

Why would I need AffJet tracking in my website?, I am using already the Affiliate Networks tracking.

As you may notice there is no way to know for all your networks which link of a page made a sale, this information is not useful for the Affiliate Networks but it's really important if you want to know which link makes more sales than others in order to improve your campaigns.

Also we have come across one problem, the Affiliate Networks don't give us an accurate picture of impressions, even if they claim they do. There is no way to know how many impressions a static link had. This information is crucial to calculate some statistics index as Click Through Rate (CTR).

Finally if we had two different ways to calculate the number of clicks (AffJet tracking and the Affiliate Networks tracking) we could compare if the number of clicks match the number we are told by the network. Answering the question every single publisher have had at any point, am I being told the truth?.

Because of this we have developed our own tracking system, we need to fill the gaps to get the whole picture and been able to decide wisely the next step in our campaign.

    What AffJet tracking does?

We will give you a java-script snippet you need to paste in the footer of the websites you want to track. This snippet basically filters all your Affiliate Links and send that information to our server, each time any user refresh the page or click the link, a request will be sent to our server at the same time the link continues its way to the merchant website and the Affiliate Network tracking system.

As we won't change anything, your links will look the same and the data will be still available on the Affiliate Network tracking system. The main difference will be that you will be able to know which link made the sale for a website page on AffJet.

How do you know which click made the sale?

As we mentioned before we will know how many clicks (and impressions) were made in a link, but tie that click to a sale is not as easy as you may think. Each time someone clicks a link, we are adding a "custom id" to the url with an "AffJet click identifier", also called "Click Ref", "UID", "reference".... After the sale is made, we will be still getting your data from the Affiliate Networks, but this time we will be told about this "AffJet click identifier", being able to identify the click, giving you all the information. If you are using already "customs id" there is no problem at all, but it needs further explanation and we will write about it later.

It is really good to be truth, it has to be a downside.

It has some limitations at the moment, we can't track more than 50 different links in one page. Also we can't track links generated via java-script or iframes (only static links, and images).

    When will it be available?

We are changing AffJet structure to support this feature, it will take a couple of weeks to start using it. We will be testing it for a little while (1 month) before realease it to the main public. If you want to use our beta version before the official launch please contact us on support@affjet.com .

    Thanks for your time,

Over the past few years we've used Staagg, Affmeter and Affjet (in that order) and overall what lets Affjet down is the updates being made the following day

Staagg won hands down with having updates available on the go, since it updated frequently during the day and was web enabled with a mobile optimised site

However staagg doesn't provide some of the reporting Affmeter does, which is why we're currently using Affmeter. We all know Affmeter's failures around technical reliability and being computer specific - I'm currently running it on 2 laptops and a desktop with loads of gaps in our data with no mobile access.

Affjet seemed a fantastic in-between aside from the fact it doesn't update until the day after sales are generated (so you see today's sales tomorrow)

I read a thread in response to Travel pixel that its a 15 min delay. I last trialled this around 3 months ago and it was a 24 hour delay so if something has changed that's great news

However before you all rush into Affjet do note that we set our networks up around 9 months ago and were working with them on the beta trial - having logged back in recently all our networks and data have been erased.

I like Affjet, although I can happily live with the 24 hour delay for a free product.

The most annoying thing is the 48 hour delay for Amazon. If they ran their Amazon update a couple of hours later then that data would be in line with all the other networks.

    Hi d33man,

As you said, each program has its own qualities. We decided that was more important been able to track the click and impressions number, for each Link , Website and Page. Also been able of summarise a big amount of data (years of affiliate data) in a report was also a priority. That's why we are building our own tracking system, and that's why the load on our server is bigger than other affiliate app.

I understand you want to know in each moment how your sites are going, but at the moment we can't afford to refresh everyone data each few minutes. Further work is needed for this and I promise we will have a look during the next week, We have a couple of ideas we would like to try, and if it works I think we would be able to refresh your data each hour or so. In the thread in response to Travel pixel we said that AffJet "can" do it but at the moment it will be limited to do it daily, anyway you will have a response in one week or so.

Recently (1 month ago) we deleted all the idle users we had (about 40). Because they didn't use AffJet for more than 2 months and we were still importing their data (and it costs us money), I guess that yours was one of them. Sorry for the inconvenience but as you can imagine we are forced to do this in order to save money.

About simonk request, we are going to have a look at it. We can't do it at the moment because we are in the middle of a big change in AffJet's structure to support the tracking but we will fix it during the week, I will keep you updated.

If you have any problem please let us know.

    Hi everyone,

As some people were requesting us, we are now able to import today's stats. This stats are going to be imported at 11 o'clock and 17 o'clock (England time). Also we keep the import at night.

So, even if we are not able to get your stats each 15 min as Travel Pixel would like to. You will be able to check how you are doing through the day. Solving the problem we had with Amazon. If you notice any problem with this please let us know.

Also we are closer to the launch to the public of our own tracking system, now is being tested and so far we are enchanted with the results.

If you want more information about AffJet's features please contact us on support@affjet.com
