If Intranet sites do have affiliate links on them I'd expect them to have been placed by somebody in the know rather than a corporate decision.

I used to run a corporate Intranet many years ago and that thought did cross my mind
. Back then hardly anybody knew what affiliate marketing was and a site full of affiliate links could have easily slipped under the radar.
Intranet sites have come on a long way since then.
