A4uexpo 2008 will play host to the first a4u Charity Auction during the Ice Party on the 15th October.

We would really appreciate the support of the Affiliate Marketing Community to ensure the auction is a great success and that we raise as much money for the selected charities as possible!

    How can you help?

    1. We would love your input on which charity you feel we should donate too, please have your say on the poll. All monies raised will be split between the top most voted for charities. If you have a suggested charity not included please let us know.

    2. Donations! All items will be auctioned or given away in a raffle. If you would like to donate an item or a “Can’t buy experience” we would love to hear from you

    3. Attend the auction and bid as much money as you can to raise a huge amount of money for the selected charities. :tup

    Thank you for your support.

I'm voting MacMillan. My dad had Leukeamia, few years back (he is fine now) but the work MacMillan do is above and beyond!

I vote for them all the way!

This post got me trying to remember a Kids Charity which really impressed me and which I intended to dontate to - and then forgot.

But here it is:- Kids Company - why did it leave such an impression?

    This line:-
    At Kids Company in 2007
12,000 children and young people accessed our services
2971 volunteers gave us their time, including 2121 corporate volunteers from 56 companies and 850 individuals
1273 young people with nowhere else to go came to our centre on Christmas day.

that one sentence really made a deep impression on me (I've made a donation now:tup) - probably because, every Christmas, my dad insisted on singing 'The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot', which still reduces me to tears!

I know it's difficult to choose between charities - they're all deserving - but to actually make a difference to a kids life- especially on Christmas Day, deserves to be considered - in my opintion.

Can I make a plea for the Lymphoma Association?

They are much smaller and relatively underfunded compared to the larger cancer charities but they have been great during my treatment and my recovery and it would be great if we as a community could help them raise vital funds.
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.

    Hi Claire

Wow - how difficult to choose between such worthwhile charities - are you able to do a post with a couple of lines about each charity as not all are well known - and it may well be the least well known charities which would benefit the most.

I have a couple of ideas about some different prizes too (will PM you!)

It makes sense for the affiliate community to back charities which have affected us personally so I'm happy to back the Lymphoma Association.
My personal favourite chariy is Amnesty International because I'd like to think I would have the courage to stand up to oppression and that someone cared.
The Auction can raise shedloads of cash so can't we share the love around a bunch of charities?...
