We know the hotels in the area are very busy during the conference so please, please book early to secure your place.

We have 150+ rooms on hold at both the IBIS and the Novotel but we do expect these to go quickly.

    Hi Geoff

We have rated the Ibis as a 2* hotel. However it has an average 4 out of 5 rating from the 32 reviews on Superbreak.com which feature it. And at under £80.00pp for two nights (based on twin share/before discount), its a great option for those who want to keep the price down (or for those who won't be seeing their beds much during the three days due to lots of late night partying/networking!)

    Cheers

So which hotel are most people staying in then? I booked the Ramada when Jason first posted but will cancel and book the novotel if that's where the majority were last year and are going to be again?

Wish I could afford the Novotel! Out of interest, how far appart are all the different hotels and the conference centre? Walking distance?

The a4uexpo team will be staying at the Novotel, one of the preferred hotels. This will also be the venue for our pre networking party held on the evening of the 13th Oct.

With regards to location, the Novotel & Ibis are located next to each other and are directly outside the ExCeL Centre, approx 100 steps & 200 yards.

They are also very close to the Ice Party held on the last night, well close enough to crawl :tup

The Ramada is about 5/10 mins walk from The Novotel - a slightly longer crawl but the fresh air will do you good

Thats very precise Claire! What length legs were your steps based on though?

Has anyone tried booking with the Ibis form? I emailed them on Fri morn but no response as yet.

    Hi Rach,

Jump on the Northern Line down to Bank and then change on to the DLR (Docklands Light Railway). Get on a DLR to Custom House for Excel and you're there.

Novotel is over £160 a night, not including breakfast. That's pricy. Do you get a deal if you use the code A4UEXP? Or are there single rooms available?
