how do they make money on this !! i got this offer bout year and half ago, paid a tenner and have had a issue delivered every month so far.

It's a great offer, they run it for a limited period every year to increase circluation stats. signed up myself just over a year ago and get my copy every month.. Not bad for under £0.30 an issue.

I imageine it's because when the 2 years is up most people don't get round to cancellign the subscription and start to get charged.
I had a 3 month free magazine subscription a coupel of years ago, I never got round to cancelling it and received it every month, I only really scanned through it and plenty didn't even get looked at. Cancelled it last month and at the same time noticed I was being charged £9 per throw for it too for a year or 2

i think the 2 years for £10 is a 'genuine' deal, that the publishers use to boost their circulation figures, as they approach renewal time with their advertisers, after your 2 years are up, you either stop receiving automatically, or should have to choose to continue....someone shout if this aint the case!!!

The only Maxim offer I can find in the admin area is for three issues for £1. All my banners say this also. Am I looking at the wrong offer?

I signed up for a similar deal a while ago (2 years for £5 or summat) and I'm thinking about cancelling .... I mean, who reads Maxim? Didn't the whole lads mag thing die down 5 years ago?
