    London, 25th September 2003 - AffiliateFuture.co.uk, the pay-for-performance
advertising network, has today launched a breakthrough shopping search
engine that is set to change the way product searches are displayed. The UK
based service, named Advanced Shopping Search will be made available to
website publishers who are registered as affiliates on
    www.affiliatefuture.co.uk and other designated partners.

    Benefits for Website Publishers (affiliates)
    · Easy comparison of products and prices for consumers
    · One-off cut & paste integration.
    · Commission earned for every sale generated as a result of the search

The Advanced Shopping Search tool is the first shopping facility to return
individual products, pricing, images and merchant seller of any product
sought - as well as earn commission, for website publishers, for any sales
made. Website publishers looking to increase their site revenue and offer a
premium search facility on their sites will be offered code that can be
easily merged into their site. They can then earn on-going advertising
revenue based on the sales generated and tracked through
    AffiliateFuture.co.uk.

The search box facility is designed to improve relevancy for shoppers. When
a search term is entered into the box, a new window will pop up displaying a
results listing. Clicking on a result will provide an in-depth product
description and a direct link to the product page. <a href='http://www.pickthem.com'target='_blank'>click for example</a>

"The rate of return of traditional banner advertising is continuing to
diminish for most advertisers. The knock-on effect of this has been
dwindling income for website publishers carrying traditional advertising."
commented Maz Darvish, CEO of the Internet Business Group. "Our new Advanced
Shopping Search product offers a compelling proposition to both advertisers
and website publishers. Advertisers are able to put their products directly
in front of potential buyers and web site publishers are able to generate
income from sales generated whilst only using up one advertising slot on
    their sites."

The new shopping service currently pools products from over 10 online stores
and across a range of over 100,000 products offering electronics and
clothing to gadgets and toys. Powered by a sophisticated engine, all
listings are maintained automatically to produce the latest results and
prevent the risk of broken links; old pricing and disabled images.

Interested website publishers wishing to take advantage of the Advanced
Shopping Search facility should visit the AffiliateFuture.co.uk network and
register. Registration & use of all the facilities, including Advanced
    Shopping Search, is free.

Pete... this looks a neat feature...

do we have to use it with a search result box.. or is it possible/can we integrate (in an espots kinda way, mate) results into existing pages rather than them appearing as a pop up.

Well I don't get to use AW's Marc, as I've still not heard back from you after applying and also dropping you an email.

Back to the point of the thread, it's another excellent feature. Like Jason said, being able to display results making them look integrated into our sites would be superb, but I take it this would hopefully be using php and not the javascript like we do for it at the moment?!

    Cheers
