    Just noticed this...

Virgin Atlantic will pay £10 for every flight booking. This payment will be reviewed following a test period, and those sites which are successful will be retained on a higher commission level.

So if we're not successful within this test period then we get dropped?

How long is the test period?

I don't think merchants would drop affiliates just because there unsuccessful, free branding etc.

Id interpret that as: After a trial period those that make sales, lots of sales or consistant would get to a higher commission, new affiliates or the rest would still get £10.

Just a trial period to get some affiliates to a higher commission.

But then again, thats just how I read it... sure pete or someone will make it all clear

They are looking to increase commissions, it's their first step into affiliate marketing so are taking it easily.

I know they are looking at including different rates for different cabin classes and possibly offering percentage deals.

Merchants don't tend to drop people on sales programmes unless you are promting it on a site that doesn't fit in with their image, ie porn site. But i wouldn't worry we are working closely with them.

So I should stop promoting them on my "mile high club" pages?
