Can someone please take a look at this for me, when I go its locking the browser up for some time untill the page loads.

As in the browser goes white and wont move, do anything else untill the page is done loading.

Its not very fast loading... does it all at once.

Possibly why it locks dial-up up, not good...

It took about 4 second to fully load here up North - 512 link

But yeah - I am not a big fan of pages that keep you waiting until ALL has loaded up cos I always think they have crashed and click elsewhere usually.

7 seconds here on on my 512k broadband - but cos it doesn't do anything then all appears at once it does appear to not appear...

I'd hate to see it on dialup.

Its a 98k page file size, according to dreamweaver, is 28seconds on dialup.

Also google recommends 75k as a maximum page size, but hey if it doesn't get spidered by google as well then thats better for us eh?

I spoke to Josh yesterday when the site went live and said the samething. His development guys are making some changes and getting the forum updated there. It should all speed up today.

ok - Wednesday I had a conversion rate of 10% and today its 1.5%

so it is basically 1/7 of what it was

if you look at the march average of 5% its stil fallen very significantly

Yes there is a drop in conversion but give it time. It's only been a couple of days and the first 2 days of last month were just the same. I am getting the same conversion rates as you though GV. Apart from Advanced have converted at 3% in the last couple of days for me. Although, the good news is (well, for me anyway) is that my conversion rate for mp3players has gone up considerably. And that's not such a bad thing as they pay more commission.

We are still converting - I know it's been slow but we have only been on AF for a few weeks ( still on AW for the time being )

New sites always take time, be they new to the network or re-works

I can't remember if one had to register before a purchase before, but testing the new one you have to do this horrible sign up form that I'd expect to prevent a large number of shoppers.

Does anyone know if they have click stream data to check where people leave the site?
