Virgin Atlantic seems to have decreased their commission from £10 per sale to a paltry 1%! It would have been nice to have had some warning about this. I would doubt the average sale is £1K so I’d see that as a fairly hefty drop in commission levels.

On the face of it 1% doesn't sound great but it will be beneficial as we've been getting loads of upper class and business class bookings. We've also been getting plenty of multiple passenger bookings and wanted to get these rewarded for.

There will be commission tiers coming and Virgin do pull affiliates away from this standard tier and put you on different rates once people do well.

Please bear in mind that travel agents start at 1% and move up on volume.
