I've never liked their website, despite having a lot of time generally for most of what the airline is doing.

But having booked flights a few weeks ago for a friend, he now wants to change the dates.

There simply isn't any kind of acknowledgement there on the site at all.

Not even a "sorry, you can't change the daates, f**k off" that you might get from Ryanair!

I have always been disappointed with the lousy conversions I've got for Virgin, which is a real bugbear, as I'd send them traffic over B* A* any day of the week, but I can't work on an EPC of about 1/2 a penny.

Affiliate marketing needs to be more of a two way relationship. If they are doing something which is p***ing me off as a user, they must be losing many thousands more sales to their rivals, or to consolidators who then keep all that juicy marketing data.

To be honest, I'm not a great fan of Virgin Trains' website either.

Now we might not be in such a position to get these companies to improve their services in general, but between us, I think we can all make some fair comments about their websites.

Amen brother. As a customer I tried to use the Virgin site and almost threw my computer out the window...luckily my girlfriend has more patience and she managed to do it.

Having said that, the BA site is MUCH worse.

I use NWA.com for US internal flights and that site works like a dream...unfortunately I don't think they have an affiliate program.

    Ben,

Always glad to know I'm not alone in my rantings.

But imho, the BA site is quite reasonable - from a UK perspective anyway. The option to book +/- 7 days is a little confusing at first, but once you go back a second time, it is very simple to use.
