Improving our affiliate programme

Hi,

We've been with AF for a while now, and we have about 100 affiliates.

We offer £2.30 per sales lead. I expect this may be the problem: Being a lead generation company, sales are actually worth only £15 to us. This means that the affiliate commission is just above 15%. As far as I have been told, this is not at all that bad.

The big question, then: How can we improve our affiliate programme to make it more interesting to affiliates? What can we do for you to make it more interesting to promote our services?

What we offer

The Askadeal site is a site that is quite unique: it gathers all the best deals in the automotive industry in a single place. Some of the deals are outrageously good. For example, we currently have a Citroën Xsara Picasso on the site that is more than 35% off list price. The Picasso is not a one-off either: We have dozens of cars that have 25% or more off the list price.

From an affiliate point of view, both trough PPC programmes and through separate sites, it should be possible to pre-sell and convert the deals - especially our hottest deals - quite easily.

So - basically: What do we need to do to take our Affiliate programme to a new level?

Not sure if you got it going but I remember you were talking about a product feed - that would be a real step forward for me if you could produce a feed containing all of your deals.
