Ok we have just revamped our product feed so that it contains more information that would be usefull to affilates compared to what we producing before. some of the information contained may or may not be usefull but we thought we would leave it in just in case.
If anyone can let me know if there is anything else they feel the feed should contain then im all ears.
Previous feed contained- product_url
- name
- description
- price
- image_url
- category
It now contains- product_url
- name
- description
- price
- image_url
- category
- brand
- manufacturer_id
- currency
- language
- ship_to
- ship_from
- shipping
- instock
we've included manufacturer_id for those affiliates who do price comparisons so can use that field to compare against the same product from a different supplier
ship_to is for a list of all iso codes of which countries we ship to
shipping is our current shipping fee (if 0 then it is free shipping)
instock is if we have the product instock (well if it's in the feed then we've got it instock anyway)
Now the one problem is that affiliate future don't process all those fields so the raw data feed is available at
http://www.justhom.com/feeds/justhom-af.csv in a pipe delimited format.
Anything that i've missed out that an affiliate would like the feed to include let me know as im sure there is more I could do.
