Holiday Watchdog is a consumer driven holiday and hotel review site. Providing rich content and independent opinions and reviews from holidaymakers for holidaymakers, Holiday Watchdog gives consumers confidence in purchasing their annual holiday or booking a hotel. Holiday Watchdog is fast becoming one of the top travel research sites in the UK. A travel report by Nielsen / Net Ratings (Source: Nielsen / Net Ratings Sector Spotlight Report; Travel, August 2005) confirmed that the website is the 8th most popular in its subsector for travel information, just two places behind Lonely Planet.

Direct Holidays 2% Packages, 1% Flights
Going Places 2% Packages, 1% Flights

We are delighted to be working with Affiliate Future on this very exciting new development of Holiday Watchdog.
Without rehashing what Pete has said and what you will find on our program page on Affiliate Future, I want to just let you know that over the last 2 and half years Holiday Watchdog has gone from strength to strength. Even in it's first year it was seen as major online travel brand in the UK, in 2005 this was even more evident, and as Pete has mentioned in our sector we are just behind some well known websites such as Lonely Planet. It is because of our strong brand we are confident that you will find Holiday Watchdog a great platform for promoting some of the most well known travel merchants in the business, such as Mytravel.
We have many exciting developments planned for our program in the coming including and not limited too, more merchants, creatives & some innovative product feeds.
Something we are very proud of is our cookie length. All cookies are set at 999 days, regardless of the cookie length of the merchants
We are very much much aware of the concerns of Affiliates, one being leakage on our a site such as ours. I can assure you that all forms of advertising on the site not related to the program are removed and can not be viewed by your visitor. If you have any other concerns or queries regarding this or other issues please give us or Affiliate Future a shout.

As we approach the new year some of you will be aware that January is traditionally the time that people will look to book their annual summer holiday, and with it being the run up to Christmas you don't want to spend your time building a large travel section of your site to cash on these sales. This is where Holiday Watchdog will help. Why add 5, 10 or 20 programs when you need add just one - Holiday Watchdog.
There are also possibilities for PPC'ers who wish to increase there chances of a sale by offering more than one merchant, without having to get involved in creating bridging pages.
If there is anything that I have not covered that you would like to know more about please drop myself or the other Chris (Calibration4U) a line.
Cheers

Hi,
Just to let you know that Portland Holidays has now been added to the Program.
CheersPortland Holidays Direct offer 2.5% for all holiday bookings made on the Portland Holidays website which offers earnings of around £30-40 commission on each sale.
How does this effect the POR program? And are both programs identical?
Jason
Hi Jason,
The POR program is still up and running. The main differences between the two are; The Affiliate Future program is predominantly a revenue share program. Offering 100% commissions on selected Travel Merchants. The POR program offers only lead payments for review and video submissions.
However, you are still able to receive payments for reviews submitted to us through the Affiliate Future program but not for videos.
Hope that helps.
