RSS feeds now available for www.justhom.com

Im pleased to announce that we now have RSS feeds available for justhom HOM mens underwear

All feeds are automatically generated every hour so as to keep all the information contained up to date.

Feeds include

• Latest 15 added items

• Top 15 best sellers overall

• Top 15 best selling thongs/strings

• Top 15 best selling boxer briefs

• Top 15 best selling micro briefs

• Top 15 best selling minis and tangas

• Top 15 best selling t-shirts

• Top 15 best selling swimwear

If there isn't a top 15 best selling feed for the category your require (for example clearance sale) then just goto http://www.justhom.com and roll your mouse over the category and take a note of the category number, then just replace the number in an existing feed with that new number and it will automatically generate it for you.

That should cover everything - any questions or requests , as always just ask and we will oblige.

I'm having a few problems reading your feeds.

There seems to be a problem with the character encoding.

I've checked it through a feed validator and get a few errors.

Ok thanks for some reason it was screwing up the ' symbol so i've removed them .
Not sure about the error

line 29, column 3: item should contain a guid element (15 occurrences) [help]

I'll have the techs look at that today.

EDIT: What i mean is that im not sure why the techs didn't include it (not as in not sure what it is).

If anyone who is/will be using these drop me a PM and let me know as it would be interesting to me on how/where they are being used

Thanks its working ok now

I believe the guid element is optional.

Now the decision is whether to read the feeds into a database (safer but more coding) or simply to display them straight onto the page.

Ok great, im going to have to go through all our products and check the short description fields (which is where the rss feed is taking the info) just to make sure that the problem doesn't crop up again.
