Airtours give you more – Commission increase for summer 06 bookings

Dear affiliate,

It’s been a while since I last gave you an up-date on Airtours in terms of promos, commission, conversion techniques and just general info.

So here goes….

Firstly, great news for Airtours affiliates promoting summer 2006.

Airtours are digging deep and offering all affiliates an extra 1% commission (package) and 0.5% commission on (flight only) – on all summer 2006 bookings they make. This is applicable to bookings made through www.airtours.co.uk . The offer starts Friday 28th July and will run until further notice.

If you’re not already promoting – what are you waiting for… over 70% of all Airtours bookings are for summer 06 – so don’t miss your opportunity!

Airtours are running a “Late Deals” on-line promotion – starting from now and finishing on 31st July.

• August prices from £234 per person and September prices from £99 per person.

2. Thousands of School Holiday Free child places – still remaining!

Airtours still have thousands of free child places available in hundreds of properties and destinations throughout July and August. Children up to 16 years old on the return date of travel can go FREE at selected properties providing that they share accommodation with two adults.

This landing page is a great place to send traffic to from free child place promo’s on your site. From this page, the customer can see which destinations are available and properties that are applicable. The grids are up-dated constantly, so conversion from here is good.

The problem I find with the mytravel sites, (not that I promote mytravel that much), but as a consumer point of view, half the prices in the discount section, have never been available.

Try the airtours link that you have given and click on the "cheap prices" and see what package you are offered.

I tried booking for myself and was so frustrated I gave up

Another question, not every holiday is for 7 or 14 nights, couldnt ther be a wider option to choose from, eg. any, more than 3 nights more than a week...

When I was trying to see if any holidays where available even at full price, 7 or 14 days was the only given option, but I can only make a 10/11 day holiday this year.

How rude - just realised I haven't replied to these threads! Sorry about that!

Ok, with regards to the first post... I feel your pain and know exactly what you are talking about. Unfortunately, Airtours have discovered a problem with the lates prices pulling from the right place. This is only effecting a handful of destinations, but its still a problem.

The prices are there, but you have to go to the next page which then rectifies the price. Not ideal - I know, as the customer may have given up by then. There is a fix going in for this very soon. They have however, assured me that the page relating to the offers is one of the best converting pages on the site – so its still worth utilising!

They are also working on odd durations, so that they appear in the drop downs. At the minute, you can get short breaks from a promo page -

There is an IT meeting on Friday to discuss a release to fix this. Ill let you all know when it’s about to go live.
