After careful consultation between the moderators, this is a polite formal request to Affiliate Future to ascertain which programs within your network have closed brand bidding groups, and ask to please submit these to the forum & include within the merchant information details within their own interface.

This will assist towards transparency & a fairer environment for affiliates.

Please could you also confirm that you don't do any ppc at network or employee level, or at least don't make themselves members of closed groups at the same time?

We'd be grateful if you could supply this information and help alleviate some of the issues that have arisen due to closed group activity.

    Thank you for your co-operation.

    Hi Paul,

It's our policy to advise merchants against allowing affiliates bidding on brands (although not always).

We are just updating all our merchants PPC policies, you'll see a new section in the merchants descriptions. It's taking us some time to go through all our merchants.

I believe there is only one merchant with a closed brand group at the moment. Some affiliates off their own back are pitching merchants to gain rights to brands. We don't get involved in this process and we'll ask all merchants to update their policies if they do allow this.

IBG Media do a very small amount of PPC to merchants, where affiliates aren't involved. IBG Media aren't allowed access to the tools in AffiliateFuture.

A number of staff run blogs or their own sites, however the majority of AffiliateFuture staff are contracturally not allowed to be affiliates. Currently there is no direct PPC from any member of staff or any member of staff involved on any closed brands.

You may on occasions see affiliatefuture links being used by merchants to track their own activity.

    Cheers

    Pete

I've updated the Provident Personal Credit programme, they allow one affiliate on their brands from affiliatefuture. They do this will all their networks they are on.
