What happens if I can't remember the name of every merchant that I've joined?
This aspect can definately be improved. End of.
If you click the search button next to the box it works! We'll have the bug fixed if you hit enter!I go into "Merchant Directory" and type in a merchant name and no matter what I type in, it comes back saying no merchants found - e.g. SUNSHINE

Individualitee.com - original tshirt designs.
Is there anyone else also seeing a different affiliate id while picking up the referral banners from the New AF panel??
Seems to be a bug as its not there with the old version.
"Falling down is not Defeat....Defeat is when you refuse to get up."
If your not sure who you've joined you can 'view merchant joined' from the main navigation and then pull the links from there.
I'll have a look at that asap.Is there anyone else also seeing a different affiliate id while picking up the referral banners from the New AF panel??

Well, it's not complicated if you know html, but very long winded. They just give you the url for the image and the url for the link and you have to write the correct html.
Before they gave the complete html (as do all the other networks), although I still had to change it as they didn't do standard html (putting the values into ' instead of ") and they didn't work on my sites, which are dynamic.

I know. but I'm very much a click and run sort of girl. OK click and eat chocolate but I see what you mean.
Putting together a link is just a bit too time consuming![]()
Data Export hasn't changed, or have I missed something?
Consider this: I log into my AW account, click on Datafeeds, instantly view those merchants who have approved me that have feeds, and can generate a new feed URL simply by copying and pasting an existing URL in my stored text file and changing the MID.
With AF feeds I have to dowload the feed, open it in a text editor and prefix each URL with my aff URL from the merchant's area, each of which have to be retrieved individually.![]()
This is why currently 100% of AW with datafeeds that I am an affiliate for have their products promoted on my site, and why 0% of the AF merchants' products are being promoted. I just don't have the time to faff about with your laborious feed process.
Sorry, it may look better and have some other improvements, but for this reason alone it's big thumbs down from me.
By all means prove me wrong. I would like nothing more than to include the feeds from your merchants, but I have found feeds AW, TD, POR, and Webgains all infinitely easier to manage.
There's also an increased risk of making a mistake when putting together the code - particularly at 3am with the matchsticks keeping the eyes open. And a mistake in the code means no money. Whoever redesigned that part of the website presumably doesn't have to use it themselves.
A few people say they like the code split. Fine - keep it like that. But please also add the complete code too so there's the choice.
Note that although I say getting links is not complicated I do not like the way it is, as per my first post.
Please bear with us on the feed front, we are working on the new system for the feeds.
If you'd like to see things work in different ways please do let us know as we have made changes from people's feedback.

Just a quickie… some smart person may know a work around.
When affiliates link to an affut merchant the visitor from the affiliate site gets redirected through the affut script which seems to take a long time to connect and displays “loading” in the browser it looks a bit iffy to the unsuspecting visitor to see “script…..” So question I have is how can that process be speeded up? Should be seamless really.
