I am absolutely frustrated! I've been advertising BMP for 3 years now and these are my most resent stats:

    October 2007: 2800 clicks / 70 sales
    November 2007: 2300 clicks / 60 sales
    December 2007: 1900 clicks / 20 sales
    January 2008: 2500 clicks / 17 sales
When I asked AF if they’ve got a tracking problem, they explained to me that my site’s traffic comes from Google and Yahoo! Well I know that very well and I haven’t changed anything on my site or my advertising strategies.
I’ve got one explanation: my AF account has been hacked The most important: there’s no such a problem with my other merchants.
Does anybody have any suggestions or I simply have to leave BMP?

Firstly saying you have no sales when you have and saying you account has been hacked without any backup isn't going to help you get people replying to your post. It put me off when I first saw it but after smingle's post I thought I would add my thoughts.

The first thing to watch out for is AF generally report more clicks than other networks. It's in the network's interest to hide as many clicks as possible - e.g. clicks by search engine spiders, multiple clicks by the same user in a small period of time - as it makes the EPC higher. For my mobile site I use the dynamically set click references so I can filter any clicks by spiders and so can see that 97.8% of my clicks reported against BuyMobilePhones this month weren't by real uses.

Now that should effect all AF merchants equally, so it may not be the full picture, but it makes a massive difference to your true EPC

The other thing is I've found Dec, Jan, Feb a quiet time for people buying mobiles. There seems to be a higher proportion of researchers about so that will reduce your EPC.

BMPs real strength is their orange deals, are you promoting these? They are tracking correctly and volume of sales is good at the moment.

Thank you all for the answers! As I mentioned above there’s no difference in my traffic for the last 12 months for example, the problem is the sales I’ve got from the same traffic. To drop from 70 to 17 it means no sales for me! Yes, I’ve been advertising BMP’s Orange and the free gifts deals for a long time now I’ve been happy so far. It might be that time of the year! Thanks again!
