I think for most of the time many 'affiliate managers' are too busy being 'affiliates'.
I am a newly appointed Affiliate Manager at a payday loan company.
When i came across this forum i was instantly impressed but what also excited me was this section for affiliate managers.
However, there does not seem to be alot in here. I would have thought it would be thriving with affiliate managers willing to help each other and share tips when it comes to recruiting and looking after affiliates.
Is there anyone out there willing to get the ball rolling and share experiences?
I do not have alot to offer as this is my first experience as an affiliate manager however i can tell you i am already enjoying it and cant see myself doing anything different fro a long time.
Thanks for your time.

I am involved in a company that gets hundreds of enquiries a day from people who have issues with loans and mortgage payments.
I can see a mutually symbiotic deal between our firms
We are also looking for people to sell our software - no training required just a straight out of the box product for £19.97.

Well AM's like us are far fewer then the Affiliates themselves. And you're right. Most of us are busy as hell trying to play affiliates and find more people to schmooze.
We are a busy people. We balance hundreds if not thousands of affiliates.

If there were a sure fire way to just have the affiliates come to you... It would have been found by now.
There is no magic bullet for this.
This is about not only marketing your company, but marketing yourself. If you can't sell yourself, why do you think you can sell your program?
