  Cashback Gambling

Hi

I thought of a idea for cashback sites which may or may not be of any use. It is Cashback Gambling. When the account on a cashback site reaches payout of cheques, i thought a good idea would be to give the customer a choice, if they want to gamble with there money. Eg. Perhaps have a roulette table or some other form of gambling on the site, or perhaps partner with a gambling site and split the money.

Another method would be for a Casino to have a cashback site in were they can gamble with the cashback money.

Just a wacky thought with potential i think.

Interesting thought - that reminds me of flipside's old concept of gambling flips, etc

However, I can't see any of the current cashback owner's wishing to go through the rigmarole of getting a licenced casino running! However, I can see potential in a JV somewhere in there.....

Any thoughts Neil (and other cashback site owners)?

Hi Darren

Or perhaps a partnership with a great new company as Jackpot Joy.

Or for Jackpot Joy to set up a Cashback site and refer members to the casino with there cashback earned.

There are many alternatives, but with the customers gambling the cashback, its seems like a extra way in making money. Plus they may even get the credit cards out to gamble more money.

Absolutely......I like the idea and think it *might* have potential...providing it was marketed correctly, etc.....

  Interesting ideas

I recently had a discussion with a Cashback site about doing something along these lines.

I think it has a lot of potential and have passed the info onto senior management.

I am going to tell them that the idea has also been discussed in the forum (and see if that has any effect).

In your opinion, who would be a good cash back site to partner with?

GreasyPalm gets my thumbs up I think it's most professionally run cash back site, I was so impressed that I ditched my plans to offer one and send them my users instead and make money from the residual aspect of the program.

Hi Pitboss

My recommendation would be either themutual or greasypalm. However you may also want to take into consideration on building your own cashback site.

Or why partner with a single cashback site, when you can make it bigger by partnering with all cashback and points websites. Including sites like ipoints etc..

Neil and Paul's GreasyPalm gets my vote to, for the same reasons as Clarke.

This reminds me of an idea a friend came up with a few years ago where you gamble at a cashpoint, rather than with cashback!

You go to the ATM, enter your pin number, ask to withdraw an amount, then get an option 'Double or quits?'!

It was only a joke idea, but I wonder how many people would be tempted..!

  lol

Never heard that one before,

but I like it.

Do you think that we should provide Greasy Palm or another with an engine that lets them run a double or quits/slot machine/or other game on their site with the money players had earned from the reward site?

If they choose to gamble we could give them a bonus sign up for first time wagering.

Would need serious integration, but certainly worth investigating.

The sums could be fairly hefty.
