I have just added an independent affiliate program to my site and need to let the affiliates out there know that I exist.

What are the best places/ ways to publicise my program?

Without knowing specifically what your site is I would suggest that you contact some sites directly and ask if they would be interesting in promoting your site on an affiliate basis. This always works best for me.

Obviously, if you already run your affiliate program with a network, you need to be careful you don't upset them by advertising your independent program.

I sell sex toys for women and have a very female friendly site.

A lot of the sites I could contact either don't want to get involved in my line of business or they are too smutty for the market I am aiming for.

My URL is www.friskybits.co.uk . I didn't put it in earlier as I wasn't sure whether it is great etiquette to do that in the forum. Maybe someone can advise me on this as well.

As you can see I am a real newbie at this. I'm good at writing a site but have little experience on the marketing side.
