Fullfillment Companies

Hi All

Done a search and can't find any discussion on this subject:

We are shortly to start distributing a new product here in the UK, and in Europe as well, and, being lazy, are looking for a company that can handle goods in, warehousing, order picking, dispatch, stock control and returns ( i.e. anything and everything to do with goods' distribution to retail purchasers).

We have been talking to Excel, but would like to know if anyone has had a good experience with anyone else.

I've had good experience with Excel in the past, you may also want to look at TNT (cheep & you get what you pay for!) and IL Group. however if you are a B2C you may want to look at a 2 company solution, a smaller company to handle the warehousing and picking etc & parcelnet for distribution.

depending on the amount of products one of our merchant companies actually uses just a private individual, i met him once, switched on guy. PM me if you want his telephone number.

I live in Jersey where there are lots of fulfilment companies- some of them very competent.

Also of course if any of your items are under £18 in value you get the added bonus of not having to pay/charge the VAT.

I have a few contacts at some of them - give me a PM if you want their numbers.
