I was approached by these people and all I can say was it looked like a total waste of time and money.
Think about it - what do you do in your spare time - surf the compnay website for bargains? No I didn't think so.
Hi,
Have any merchants here been approached, or signed up to crewise.com ?
If so, how have people found it?
Thanks
John

Yup been approached twice.
Waste of time, called their bluff as I said that I knew someone else who had signed up with them and i'd check with them what their results were.
Avoid like the plague

That's what I thought. I contacted 6 companies listed on there that sell similar things to us (some drinks companies, and some beauty products) and 5 have replied so far and all said not to bother, some of them were very strong in their condemnation.
Thanks
One to ask would be becheeky.com as they post here and they are listed with them

yes, not heard from them for a while thankfully!Originally Posted by yesasia
normally i'm instantly dismissive of this sort of thing, the only thing that attracted me was the fact it is meant to be aimed at airline crew - and that fits in very well with our alcohol-free drinks as airline staff have to stick to strict alcohol limits.
oh now I remember crewise as well. they say they publish a magzaine, but actually it never gets published. and anyone can be a member. You just have to say you belong to the airline industry.
We also used to get sales calls from similar companies who only target NHS staff and schools and government departments. I dont know if that's real... I miss all the B2B sales call now I m in Hong Kong... Here I only get automated calls and in Chinese only.
yes, the saleswoman kept mentioning the "magazine" and when i asked for a sample copy she said i could view it online at www... ah... a newsletter. right.Originally Posted by yesasia
yes, had the nhs one as well.![]()
Hi,
Do not touch them! We paid to be featured in their newsletter supposedly sent to over 190000 paying members. two sales in a 6 month period. When I asked what their open ratio is, Sheila Hunter stated it was 98%, simply unbelievable.
I am pressing to see their stats now, otherwise I will take them to court.
Avoid, I was called with the suggestion that my house on a Golf Course in Spain was just what they wanted to advertise in British Airways staff magazine. Seemed reasonable enough but mentioning this to a BA Airbus Captain (they all seem to play golf) who showed me the BA staff magazine does not carry ads for Crewise. I think the sales lady was being economical with the truth. I canceled the deal with Crewise as per the Governments suggested 7 day cooling off period for Distance Selling.
We advertised with them and from the stats worked out very poor VFM.
One tip with with anyone of these is to tell them to 'put the money where the mouth is' and get them to advertise Free or greatly reduced rates for the first month so you can analyse the stats. Any advertiser confident of results will negotiate on terms even if you offer to reimburse the fee back to them if succesful.
I just want to say, I have been approached by Crewise several years ago, after some thought I decided give them a chance to work with Crewise and must say I manage 7 hotels and have two beauty salons my own and I made the right choice. I would highly recommend the website to people who has quality products to offer, and in my view it’s a very professional and caring company with a brilliant customer service. I don’t normally have time to attend to forums like this but when someone mention to me about the comments made about Crewise on this forum i thought that should give some of my opinion as well, and it’s a real shame an unfair some of the petty comments has been made here.
