I run a website called www.edworthys.net and need some help.

The site has been running for nearly 8 years and generates lots of orders but not through our Affiliate networks.

Our site sells performance car parts which is quite a technical area but also represents a niche area for Affiliates to push.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm assuming that the biggest source of affiliate driven traffic could/would be from owners clubs/forums - these tend to specialise in one make (sometimes one model).

Do you have landing pages etc that would aggregate your products into the ones appropriate for the models of car?

Where do your current affiliate links land?

Also - are you running the scheme in house - I'd imagine you'd get sheds load more affiliates if you used a network.

The site works under www.edworthys.co.uk but we have recently created a landing page at edworthys.net

The purpose of this was so International customers could select their currency before entering the site. Also Affiliate we pi**ed off with us advertising our number on the home pag which now addresses that issue as well.

We have been working with AF and AW for over 4 years and we even though we have over 2000 affiliates joined only a handful link to us. Every month we seem to be getting less and less conversions from Affiliate traffic. This pattern is directly opposite to our own traffic which is converting much better month on month.

My belief is that we have the wrong type of Affiliates linking to us and like you say more Motoring related sites understand the type of thing we sell.

Let me know what is possible and we can have a chat about this.
