    Comps seem to be a good way to increase the mailing list, and affiliates would seem a good way to get people to enter a comp. What sort of rate would you offer to affiliates for every completed competition entry.

    Could you offer diffferent rates depending on what marketing the person signs up to;

    ie 1 wibble -entered but no marketing
    5 wibbles - allows marketing from your company
    15 wibbles - allows marketing from 'selected partners' (don't you just love that phrase)

    Wibbles are worth nothing nowadays since the crash of the wobble market

    Seriously, yes that tiered type of thing would be good. Often, people have to complete ALL details and agree to a life of spam in order for the lead to be valid.

    Also worth considering would be level of signup data;
    1 wobble - email address
    15 wobble - home address
    25 wobbles - phone number etc

    Maybe worth looking at the possibility of running a co-reg campaign for a fixed amount?

    My final thought - how about providing DISCOUNT CODES for us affiliates, and in order for the visitor to receive it, they have to subscribe to your newsletter?

    If you feel like talking/trialing the later, I would more than happy to be a guinea pig for you

    We offer 80p / signup at the moment so by Steveaich's figures that makes a wibble about 16p.

    We give the new member 10 ipoints for email & postal address, and an ipoint is worth about 5p, so by Frostie's workings a wobble is 3.33p

    See what you mean about the wobble market collapsing!
