Re: Very impressed with Webgains
We run the Consumer Lifestyles survey programme over 3 networks -our tiered commission rates are the same on all, we contact our programme managers pretty much everyday, update our content as soon as it is available and really do push to get as much business through our networks as possible - however, despite this we are finding that the performance is drastically different from network to network.
I would love to say that Webgains are our best performing network - however, this is not the case as yet. There seems to be potential to increase the performance of the programme (we have hundreds of affiliates that are signed up but not promoting) however, from my experience I would have to say that the main difference between Webgains and our other networks is the role/input of the "support manager".
From my experience as a merchant, when you run a programme on a network you really do need account managers that are going to help push your programme - for example, as a merchant you provide as much information, update creatives and offers, incentivise your programme as much as possible and are always thinking of ways in which you can maximise the performance of your programme - this is all a great start - but if you do not have a support/programme manager behind you helping you find the right affiliates for you, giving your advice on your approach, giving ideas of how to improve your offering then you will (in my experience) find it much harder to get your programme to deliver the results you want.
Maybe I need to speak to my Support Manager and ask why have had such a different experience to everyone esle!
