  Very impressed with Webgains

Having worked with other Affiliate networks over the last few years i can honestly say Webgains has been the most helpful, professional and overall the best by far.

Our site www.247ppd.co.uk has been launched and we decided to work exclusively with Webgains and our Affiliate Manager who is Ryan...top man.

Thanks to all at Webgains especially Ryan.

Regards

Jason

Can I second that.

We launched with WebGains about 3 weeks ago, our affiliate manager Sachin has also been a great help with setting up the program and improving all sorts of things to do with our online operation.

I would recommend WebGains to any merchant or affiliate.

Andy.

Had a quick look on their site but couldn't see a list of their merchants. Do you know which are their key merchants? From an affiliates point of view, paying commission weekly is a big plus but from a merchant's view point this has an effect on cash flow which won't go down with the accounts dept!

Mark> It doesnt really affect it. Merchants pay monthly, but they pay affiliates weekly. Other networks would just keep the money for a month and then pay it.

They have some big merchants. Don't hesitate to sign up ; )

I'd say from our point of view they are a really good bunch - envirofone.com was really new to this and Ryan has been a great help. So much so that when I am down in London next he may even buy me a couple of drinks !!!!!

I would recommend these guys and in fact we will be using them in Holland soon.

  Re: Very impressed with Webgains

We run the Consumer Lifestyles survey programme over 3 networks -our tiered commission rates are the same on all, we contact our programme managers pretty much everyday, update our content as soon as it is available and really do push to get as much business through our networks as possible - however, despite this we are finding that the performance is drastically different from network to network.

I would love to say that Webgains are our best performing network - however, this is not the case as yet. There seems to be potential to increase the performance of the programme (we have hundreds of affiliates that are signed up but not promoting) however, from my experience I would have to say that the main difference between Webgains and our other networks is the role/input of the "support manager".

From my experience as a merchant, when you run a programme on a network you really do need account managers that are going to help push your programme - for example, as a merchant you provide as much information, update creatives and offers, incentivise your programme as much as possible and are always thinking of ways in which you can maximise the performance of your programme - this is all a great start - but if you do not have a support/programme manager behind you helping you find the right affiliates for you, giving your advice on your approach, giving ideas of how to improve your offering then you will (in my experience) find it much harder to get your programme to deliver the results you want.

Maybe I need to speak to my Support Manager and ask why have had such a different experience to everyone esle!
