Looking for affiliates - Where do I start?
Hi all
The company that I work with are in the pre-launch stage for a extremely competitive priced VOIP 'stick' product which will in due course be able to be used on a Mobile Phone.
I am wanting to obviously get as many of these sticks to the market place as possible and am in the process of setting up a website where these can be sold.
I learned about affiliate marketing last week on a e-commerce course and was really wondering how I should go about finding affiliates to sell the product.
Any ideas or suggestions from those more familiar with this type of area of business would be greatly appreciated.
If you have any questions dont hesiate to get in touch.
Ben

Or set up your own affilaite program - i am trying PostAffiliatPro affiliate managment software which seems pretty versatile
If you are choosing the none network route a good place to start is listing your program in the affiliate directories - search for "affiliate directories" , or use affilaite announce service which submit for you (a bit pricey though) - they will submit to loads of directories but do not guarantee acceptance - i think the ones that appear at the top when you google for the affiliates directories are the ones that are likely to be the most important
PS Make sure you have an affiliates web page outlining your program , commission etc and have it linked from home page (obvious but quite a few mechants miss this)
It's not easy but if the commission/terms are attractive listing in directories is a good way forward (the other way is to approach directly but do this using the merchant forms and d not spam!)
Good luck with finding your affiliates
