Adware & Spyware in Australia

I found this article extremely intriguing to read, I'm presuming that all Australian Networks now have anti-adware and anti/spyware policies in place to protect affiliates from these companies and importantly fellow affiliates utilising them also!

Without going into old ground - What procedures are now in place at Australian Affiliate Networks to ensure this does not happen again and that affiliates and merchants are protected?

Adware and Spyware really does hit the genuine affiliate in the pocket hard, and the patterns are easily spotted at networks so there should be no excuse?
