Simply for people with families, taking a weekend out is not logical.

Plus if event is midweek we can line up 2 days of meetings

Although 6th has one more vote I think we'll probably opt for 29th July as the preferred date - plus that gives us a few extra weeks to organise the evening.

Also, anyone in town for the evening may want to stay on for the IAB meeting that is taking place on 30th.

Anyone with venue suggestions or who wants to be a sponsor is still welcome to get in touch.

Great idea tying it up with the IAB meeting the following day! Wre'd love to get involved with IAB, but coming to London just for the meetings isn't practical so great news.

Sounds like you're going to have a busy day with the IAB monthly Affiliate Council to attend on Thurs afternoon then!

Am definitely aiming for 29th July but am waiting on confirmation from a venue on whether they can accommodate us. If they are able to and the price is right it'll be perfect (assuming we have the weather...).

I'm going to chase them tomorrow. I'm guessing that as it's a Wednesday and bookings must be a little thin on the ground in the current economic climate we shouldn't have trouble finding somewhere if the first option falls through.

Will keep you posted as soon as I have more details.

Hi there,

At long last I've found a venue that can accommodate a BBQ and has a sizeable garden as well as offering the whole space exclusively.

We'll therefore be holding the forthcoming affiliate networking drinks at Imbibe Bar in Southwark: Imbibe-Bar - Southwark Restaurant, London Eatery, Beer Garden, SE1 Bars, Business Lunches

Registration will open shortly on a first come, first served basis as per the last couple of events.

Will post more details shortly.

But if it's still the 29th that's perfect, get back from Geneva on the 28th and off to Edinburgh on the 30th .. could be a great couple of weeks

Yeah, the 360's missing files but try the drop down on the gallery page for something other than cocktails

It's on my way home from work actually...and a convenient crawl to my bed afterwards...great choice

Don't remember it being massive...nor can I picture how they might accomodate a BBQ...but maybe I just don't have the image clear enough in my head. Let me know if Helen doesn't manage to swing by and I can get off the bus a little early to do a recky myself.
