The eMeet is an informal networking evening for the eCommerce industry that is being organised by myself and a colleague.

The idea behind the eMeet is to bring together people working in ecommerce and online marketing to strengthen current relationships, make new contacts, incubate new business ideas, and share experiences without the cost of attending a conference or there being a sales agenda.

According to our research, 75% of eCommerce professionals we contacted felt forced to pay to attend conferences just in order to meet other eCommerce professionals. The eMeet addresses this need.

The evening is aimed at people who are leading the eCommerce industry forward in many different ways, who recognize the benefit of meeting others in the same industry.

viagogo are kindly sponsoring the first event in order to ensure that the event is free to attend.

Every person who attends should try and bring someone with them who also works in eCommerce or online marketing, to really kick start the experience sharing and new idea generation.

The details of the event are:

Where: Soho House, 40 Greek St, London
