Hi there,

Having chatted to a number of the networks I think we felt it was about time we sorted out another pub meet so put Thursday 11th February in your diaries.

As usual the networks will stump up some cash to get the networking started.

No venue as yet but usual informality will apply.

If anyone can recommend any central London venues that are willing to accommodate c.250-300 people with guaranteed bar spend as opposed to venue hire as payment then please drop me a line.

It's actually quite tricky finding a suitable venue so if anyone has any additional ideas please drop me an email.

We'll probably spend about £5-£6k on the night all in if anyone knows somewhere we can have that doesn't have venue hire costs attached.

Hi all,

Am pleased to confirm the venue for February.

This time around we've opted for something a little bit different because our friends at Ogilvy have offered the use of their bar. The bar can hold up to 300 people and is situated in the heart of Canary Wharf.

Ogilvy Group UK One-Agency

It's a great gesture from an agency that has enjoyed significant success with the affiliate channel in 2009 and will also send a clear signal to the rest of the agency's divisions about the strength of our industry.

Happy New Year to everyone.

I've now set up a registration page for the event and as we always end up with more people wanting to attend than we can accommodate I'd urge you to register as soon as possible: Affiliate Networking Event - Online Event Registration Service plugged in by eventsbot.com

To make our lives a little easier, if you could also state your company name and status (affiliate/merchant/network/agency etc.) in the 'middle name' field when registering it would be much appreciated. As always the event is limited to two attendees per company.

I'll also see if I can get one of the Ogilvy guys to post about the venue in the next couple of weeks.

Afternoon, everyone.

We're delighted to host the next networking event here at Ogilvy and hope to see as many of you as possible.

Our bar is on the 9 floor of our offices in Canary Wharf and is easy to reach (weather permitting) by dlr, tube or riverboat. Our address is 10 Cabot Sq, E14 4GB or you can locate us here on Google Maps.

When you arrive we will be distributing wristbands that will entitle you to free soft drinks, wine and beer plus the buffet. Once inside, we have arranged to have the entire bar and conference room for the evening on the 9th floor. You are welcome to order spirits, but these will not be covered on the tab.

We are presently discussing entertainment for the evening and will update you soon on what's been arranged.

(We do ask that you understand we have some potentially sensitive information within the offices and that guests remain within the bar and surrounding area.)

As Kevin said, the affiliate team at Neo@Ogilvy has enjoyed a fantastic year in 2009 and there is huge focus on us within the wider Ogilvy Group, so hosting the networking event is a huge privilige for me and my team.
